Maple dry rub and pecan smoking chips, will they conflict ?

Had a question, I am cooking a turkey today on the egg using a drip pan and vertical roaster. I also picked up some pecan chips as everyone has been recommending them. I was planning on using a maple dry rub as well and then started thinking, "will the maple rub go with a pecan smoked turkey" ? Should I just do one or the other ??
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
