Pork Spareribs Times and Temps
While everyone is making turkey, I'm doing some ribs tomorrow for a bunch of friends (here in Sackets Harbor, New York - BGE's are few and far between up here). My previous attempts have varied in quality. I've done some research thanks to the links provided by Naked Whiz. [p]Indirect Pork Spares with Platesetter:[p]JSlot - 375 X 2hrs
Greg - 300 X 3.5
Mike - 325 X 3
Thomas - 225 X 3 + 1 foil + 1 sauce = 5

350 X 2.5-3 or
300 X 3.5 or
325 X 3 or
400 X 2+
GFW - 225-300 over 5hrs
Marine - 250 X 4 hrs[p]Is longer better or will results be consistent across all times/temps?

JonE,[p]If you follow the cooking directions that J-Slot mention's in preparing spare rib, trust me you will not go wrong. Cook spare ribs with plate setter, cook at 350-375 for 2 hrs. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RAISE THE LID OF THE EGG.[p]KENNY
