Cranberry Glaze

We're doing a John Ash brined (thanks, Ms. Dog) bird next week. I did the trial run with a BIG chicken breast last night. Ms. Dog mentioned a cranberry glaze, and I used one from Emeril, adapted to what was on hand and taking other liberties. It was so good I wanted to share it.[p]Cranberry Glaze
12 ounces cranberry cocktail
juice of two oranges
zest of two oranges
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
6 whole cloves
2 ounces orange liqueur[p]Combine all ingredients except the liqueur and simmer until the liquid coats a spoon. Remove zest and cloves. When cool, add liqueur. Glaze the bird only in the last five minutes of the cook.[p]
