Freezing Marinated Beef???
Thanks!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I do that a lot with chicken and pork, only I freeze it right away. When I want to use it, I do a refrigerator thaw for a day or so which is now my marinating time.
So unless you are worried about over marinating it, I think you are good to go.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
Thanks. I wasn't thinking of freezing the marinade too, just taking the meat out of the goo and freezing it in a vac bag. I think I'll try it. Otherwise, I'll be eating LB for a week!! Or freezing some already cooked meat, which never turns out well for me.

If you use a "Food Saver" type appliance and freeze the cooked meat in meal sized portions, then you just drop the sealed bag in boiling water until it's hot enough to eat. Voila! Just like fresh!

Thanks. That sounds like a good idea, and it apparently works for some. But it sure hasn't worked for me. I've tried it with pulled pork for example, and frankly, it's AWFUL! About the only cooked food I have been able to freeze and reheat successfully is lasagna. Ah, well..........
