Smoked Duck Breast Question

While I have smoked an entire duck before, I am considering doing the brest only. Is the BGE owner's manual correct when it indicates cooking at 250-300 degrees and allowing 10 -15 minutes cooking time per pound? Any recommendations from personal experiences would be appreciated.
