I used Fab P on my pork butts

I did 20 pounds of pork butts using Fab P injections. What a difference this stuff makes. A richer, meatier tasting and juicy result. Scary good. Don't mind my " pulling fork" in the pic. This stuff, IMO, is worth its weight in gold.
This was 2 hours after it was pulled! Yes, it was kept warm
It's MUCH jucier than the picture.

Is it better than FAB?
-
Dang! it IS Fab

Sorry, I could have sworn I saw Dap P. :S

I have thought about buying the FAB B or FAB B lite for brisket and the FAB C for chicken. I will pick up the FAB P for butts also. I like to experiment with different rubs and sauces. After hearing about this stuff a few weeks ago on another forum, I now want to try out injecting my meats with different things. Everyone who talked about this product loved it.

Limp, you did! I goofed up

Yikes! :woohoo:

It really kicked my pulled pork up a notch. The meat has a nice, velvety mouth-feel and it seems to mellow out the pork flavor while somehow making it richer. I'm trying to think of a better way to describe it, but can't. I'm sure many others here have tried it, maybe they can chime in. Yes, I'll use it again...and again

It certainly isn't cheap, but usually the best things aren't(we own Eggs). I have heard way too many good things about it to not give it shot. Most people on another forum were giving high praise to the FAB B lite for brisket. Thanks for sharing how the FAB P is on butts.

Does the Fab P have MSG?
I've heard they are developing a non-MSG product.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
I just visited their site and yes it has MSG, but they offer a FAB P without MSG also. The FAB P without MSG is on clearance for $9.95.
-
I have also heard a lot about the FAB products, gotta put in an order myself.
-
It has monosodium glutamate listed about halfway down the ingredient list.

Damn ! Who woulda thunk ?

I might have to try Tide tonight. I can't find the Fab-P at my grocery store. Do you think Tide would introduce a different flavor than Fab-P ?__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious -
Thanks, I knew Fab B had it and I assumed the P did as well.
Butchers BBQ (similar to the Fab products) also has MSG. I'm actually okay with the phosphates that both these products use, and personlly I have no issues with MSG, (otherwise I wouldn't be a BBQ Judge) Hehehee. But on my bigger cooks I serve to a variety of folks so I don't use Fab anymore. Maybe I'll try the Fab Free.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
Confirmed on the discounted price for 'without MSG' version...picked up a few bags from the Fab tent at New Holland Summerfest this past weekend.
The story behind Fab is quite cool, and while I'd already known about it before this weekend, I picked up a pamphlet and an article about the inventor/product.
I planned to scan them to a PDF....if anyone would like it, just email me.
The product gets rave reviews whenever it's involved! It's not a marinade, and doesn't contain salt....says it brings out the natural taste in the meat.
The pork looks great Steve! -
I'd like the PDF !

Sound cool! I'd like the PDF also! esmanrsbed@aol.com

Do you have a web site for this product?
Thanks
Rich
