Peach Pepper Jam

After a bit of discussion with my husband about how much is too much pepper (and "did you use the seeds too")...we agreed 1 pepper for each cup of peaches. Oh my goodness - this is some pretty darned good stuff if I say so myself

Okay, here is the top-secret recipe (not)! I followed the directions exactly for cooked jam. 4 cups finely chopped peaches, 5 jalapeno peppers (red and green - was tempted to throw in a couple of serranos, glad I didn't, 2 TBSP fresh lemon juice, 5 1/2 cups sugar. Seriously - it was easy as pie - gonna make more tomorrow night.

6 1/2 pint jars....stopped by the Five and Dime on the way home to buy a dozen more half pint jars, and a dozen pints! We've been blessed with really good peaches (Chilton County peaches - from central Alabama).
