Disposable corn cob holders?

Does anyone know where I can get some disposable corn cob holders? I did a demo cook yesterday and used skewers to hold the cobs. They didn't work very well. Any ideas?

why not fingers?

Get some thick wood skewers and only use about 2 inches on each end.

Disposable fingers???

Steve,
How about these Bamboo forks?

304 stainless nails ? -
Steve how about a napkin
Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -
Adam, where did you get the bamboo forks?

Fingers and napkins won't work. The corn is screaming hot coming off the egg! :( Nails and round skewers make the cob spin, no bueno. I like the bamboo fork idea. BTW, I put Pineapple Head on the corn. The people went wild :P

Memory failure...I'd try your local grocer.

faced with the same situtation here's what I used from my workshop - large staples!

Smaller ones will work too if you are cutting the ears into thirds for instance.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
If I can;t find the bamboo forks, I'll bet Elliots Hardware, where I demo, has those staples. Great idea! Thanks,RRP
