Eggtoberfest Breakfast Casserole Recipe
Squeeze
Posts: 717
This is the recipe we made in the morning during Eggtoberfest.[p]1 lb Mild Sausage (the kind in the tube)
1 lb Hot Sausage (the kind in the tube)
1 8oz package of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 8oz package of shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 cans of crescent rolls[p]Bring your egg to 350 degrees with an inderect setup. Make sure the fire is burning clean with little smoke.[p]1. Cook the sausage until done and drain and discard the grease.
2. Mix with the cheese and 6 eggs.
3. Put one can of crescent rolls on the bottom of a disposable lasagne pan.
4. Pour sausage, egg, cheese mixture on top of the crescent rolls.
5. Lay other can of crescent rolls on top of mixture
6. Cook for 45 minute to an hour. It is done when the crescent rools are fully cooked.[p]I have double panned this to make sure the bottom crescent rolls do not burn, it seems to extend the cooking time when I do so. [p]Enjoy!!
