Fresh Sardines.any ideas

Just got a bunch of fresh sardines. I remember cooking these on the open fires at the ethnic feasts when I was young.
Any Ideas for the egg ? For marination ? Temps ?Times?[p]Thanks

Just toss them with olive oil, season lightly with salt, pepper and a little oregano. Grill them direct around 300 degrees. Um Um Good![p]Ken
