We are both huge jerky fans, but for some reason have never attempted making it. We have all the gadgets so we did a small experiment this weekend. Chicken Jerky done two ways and turkey jerky.

Sliced up three chicken breasts and split the meat evenly. 1/2 put in our marinator with teriyaki marinade and 1/2 dry rubbed with our own chicken wing rub. We also had just slice up some turkey bacon so we through it on unseasoned since there was room.

Smoked at 250 deg for about an hour then finished in our dehydrator. Tasted great! We are now excited to do some more experiments and will continue to report the results!

Almost complete ... was the last picture I took for some reason. Got too anxious to eat it! The dry rubbed were the best in my opinion.
