elzbth, Where in Mobile do you live? I have a sister and hubby that live there, just off DLP. Been trying to get them to become eggheads for years. They love the food when they are here, but will not buy a Egg.

    What a wuss!!!

My weather station said it only got to 102.5° today with a heat index of 117°.

If it gets a bit warmer, I might consider turning on the A/C. :woohoo:

At the time, we thought this would be a good place to be employed, especially since no one else was hiring. Now we're free to live anywhere and can't afford to leave.

Meanwhile, it's official now... Two doctors said I'm on the way to recovery with my knee. Even all the other stuff that is annoying the hell out of me is okay for the shape I'm in. In other words, I'll live, but not without frequent moans and groans.

Speaking of hot, it used to be this hot before we had A/C in the house, the car, the tractor, the store, and even the Astrodome. We complained a little but we went on with working and doing stuff. Luxury was to have a fan. Real luxury was to have a house with an attic fan. Now look at us...

;) I kind of figured as much.

We live in west Mobile - near Schillingers and Airport. We have several friends and family members who love egged food but can't take the plunge for one reason or another. They are pricey. I bought my first one (large) about 12 years ago, and a small last year for my birthday. It took me a while to get past the cost, but I got past that quickly once I started using it. I talk it up every chance I get!!
