Two of the 16 to make Pitmasters hail from here in the state of Iowa. Some of you who have competed may know Big Moe from Ponderosa BBQ. He will be on tonight.

Later in the season Shad and Angie Kirton from Boy and His BBQ will be on. In addition to being comp cooks they are partners in Iowa's Smokey D's restaurant in Des Moines.

The format has changed quite a bit. Interesting to see what happens. FYI...Moe has a large egg but not sure if he took it with him.
