Pork belly strips

Went to the store planning on getting some pork tenderloin but ran across this


First time running into this so decided to try it out. It is either XXXXThick bacon or an anorexic tenderloin.


Rubbed two strips with Richard's Kona coffee rub, two with JH Pecan, and two with DPDD. All were mightyfine


Nice dinner and plenty leftovers for the week.

Ok Frank what was the best rub of the three?

They were all good - DPDD was our favorite but I still use them all.

I was headed to the store to get a tenderloin to try out Richard's Kona coffee rub when I was distracted - really wasn't a good chunk of hog to try out the coffee rub. Maybe next weekend.

I like the Kona better on beef.

I've used it on a Rib Roast and a Brisket.EGGCELLENT!
