Pizza on a 14" stone.[p]Is there any reason to use the platesetter below the
pizza stone to 1) raise the grid the stone is on or
2) provide more indirect mass and slow down the cooking

HolySmokes,
I use the plate setter to raise the stone up and I place the stone directly on the plate setter, no grid in between. More ceramic mass will help prevent burned crust. Here is a link to my pizza hints and tips page:[p]TNW
