Peaches are gone, no pics of the pie, sorry. I got one with fresh peaches in a salad. They were delish with Black River Gorgonzola, 25 year old Balsamic, my garden greens with fresh berries. :woohoo:

Door County cherries are in early. Warm weather jump started the harvest and the farmers market had them this mornin so I bought some for a pie. This time I'll take a pic of the pie in my 'Baker' egg. Stay tuned.

Clay.....can I be your friend??? :woohoo:  That first pic is just amazing...apart from the vivid colours practically everything in it is out of reach here on its fresh form...only in the supermarkets & obviously not fresh like yours. Delicioso!!

  • Just grabbed a few pints of Door County cherries at the farmer's mkt this AM. They are always such a tasty treat, I get the sweet ones to eat as they are. A few years back I was in Traverse City, MI in spring when the cherry trees were in bloom, what a sight!
