Marine Cook,[p]Pork tenderloins marinated in jalapenos and cilantro with a tamarinde finishing sauce; rice; and sliced tomatoes, bean sprouts, sliced onions and white wine vinegar. The tenderloins are a dry-run for Eggtoberfest. Go Broncos.[p]PapaQ

Marine Cook,[p]Steak night. Ordered some out with EliShark last night and the portions were SOOOO tiny we chalked it up as an appetizer to tonight. AlexShark requested a t-bone so his is rubbed liberally with olive oil, Grilla (low salt) seasoning, and a ton of pepper I just ground in my handy coffee mill. EliShark and I are splitting something new..a cowboy ribeye. Definitely have to do these t-rex because the sucker HAS to be 2-1/2 inches thick. One steak is 2.3 lb. Tee hee. First time I think I'll use a polder on a steak. It was kinda like a small house payment.[p]mShark

thawed a surprise turkey a few days ago for the wife's birthday, which she expressed a desire for. when i told her we were gonn have turkey, she gently steered the topic to tenderloin.[p]and so tonight i tossed the turkey on to cook it afore she went bad.[p]started really late, not planning on having it for dinner.[p]as the wife served cast-iron fried burgers (which actually were pretty good), the turkey hit 170.[p]i normally drag it off even earlier, say 160-165[p]so we had turkey AND burgers[p]feast or famine over here.[p]oh[p]and to 'celebrate' the end of summer, she came home with some cabo wabo, which goes down quite well....

Marine Cook,[p]We did a shrimp recipe from Steven Raichlen's "BBQ USA" cookbook, called "Cousin Dave's Grill-Top Shrimp Boil". Sides were Roasted Garlic & Rosemary Red Potatoes, Garden Salad with Citrus Vinegarette, and Watermelon chunks.[p]Sorry, never got the camera out for a pic :([p]Tonia

that's it.[p]i was entirely skeptical of it...[p]did see a taste test on some nameless foos network production that gave it really high marks, so we tried it.[p]...kinda got into a 'tequila thing' this summer, and have been trying, um, more than a few[p]hahahaha
