The bottom grate is part of the firebox and is covered by your warranty. Call BGE in Atlanta for a free replacement. I called last week and they sent a cast iron grate to replace mine. Quick turnaround and great service, too.

madmax et.al.,[p]Is this also what's called a grill extender? I looked at the accessories page on the bge site and there's nothing called a plate setter. One dealer site has something called a grill extender... Can someone post a picture?[p]thanks!
