I am almost finished with my kitchen this is how it looks so far. Started with simple BGE table plans and evolved to this... and still going.... All Redwood with a granite top. Storage for my eggstuff...

Wow, I really like this. I guess you're not done if the egg isn't even a part of it yet! :P Please keep us posted on the progress.

I've been watching everyone's tables and kitchens. I want something more than just a table but haven't figured out what exactly yet. A photo of yours just went into my 'idea' file.

I am still debating of incorporating the table or Just keep it in the nest. The side is set so that I can get to the prep area, but also still able to move the egg around.

I can see where it would be handy to have it movable. If I build mine into anything, it will be set into an opening and not dropped into a hole. I have the eggmates on one of our larges and not the other. It is SO much nicer to have those shelves immediately next to the egg. Until we got the second one with the shelves, I didn't realize how great it was. Now I can't even function without them.
