Looks great. Love me some Bone Suckin sauce on my ribs. IT's great! I have 3 of your sauces. Enjoy.
  • I have done some research on this disease

Collecting/coveting sauces is the first stage

Taking photos of them is the second stage :S

The third stage is when a second person takes them all out of the fridge and cabinet,
    takes a photo,
    re-sizes the photo,
Uploads the photo to a host,
Copies and pastes into a thread

    IMG_2481800x600.jpg

What is even more sick is that we only use sauce on wibs and sometimes on chicken

Oh my Lord that it funny. I'm into the early stages of the addiction, only 4 bottles open in the fridge. But, my favorite thing to do in a new place is go to the grocery and scope out the sauces and rubs. Always have a spare duffle to send them home in!

  • I just tried bone suckin' sauce for the first time the other night. Really, really good. Also, I found it for $6 which isn't too bad.

You guys make me feel deprived! Just as sick but deprived.

Here is my collection . . .

I'm not complaining, this is a great sauce and from Sam's for less then $5 for 1/2/ gallon you can't beat it. When the economy improves or the hurricane season ends which ever comes first I may have to try the Carnivore and Blues Hog's. I hear only good about them.

Also any sauce you have you can make your own by adding spices to it. That can be fun trying.
    You have mail.

I used to make my own BBQ sauces. I used to make an orange flavored BBQ sauce (this is Florida after all) that was wonderful on shrimp wrapped in bacon. I think the trick like everything else is to try and keep them simple. If they get to complicated you can loose a great flavor. One of those "you can't see the forest for the trees" sort of things but with your taste buds.

Sonny's is a chain of BBQ joints that have been in the south east U.S. for many, many years and have good food. They went big time with their Sweet Sauce a couple years ago and it has been nice being able to get it at Sam's for such a low price.

Thanks for the mail my friend.

  • I thought I had a problem, guess not, except I have not tried any Blues Hog and it seems to be readily displayed in some of the features. I will fix that tonight with an internet order!

I do have favorites and stick with them, I experiment with the cooks and rubs more than the sauce, but a sauce is what makes my day.
