What is the lowest temp I should be able to get with my large egg? How exactly do I get that low temp without shutting it down? Thanks so much

Mine will cruise on 250 dome til the lump runs out.If I were gonna try to cook lower I would buy a pit tending gadget or be sure to check it often.

How low do you want to get, and for what purpose. If you are talking about cold smoking cheese, you can keep the Egg around 80-90 degrees.

I was talking about 175 for the purposes of doing beef jerky. I am just not sure how to get that low without shutting down the egg?
