I have a medium egg in the nest. It is stored in the garage with two cars. I am considering converting a cabinet with a drawer into a rolling table to use beside the egg. Does anyone have any suggestion? I would like to have one side fold down and the other side house paper towel roll, hooks, etc.

Cabinets typically aren't made of anything that is going to hold up in the outdoors. It will work for a while, but will, most likely fail and fall apart. I used some cabinet doors to fashion 3 small and mini portable tables. 2 already chit the bed and the 3rd is on it's way. I would say build or have a table built using cedar, cypress, redwood or another 'naturally' exterior grade material. Then put a few coats of a nice spar varnish of some sort.

    Good luck

Thank you Adam. I found a table on the Naked Whiz web site that was built by Mike. I was not able to open the site that contained the plans. Perhaps I can work from his dimension sheets alone. I want to use eastern red cedar. It is beautiful.
