XL Dome Issues

I've had my XL for about 3 months now and use it about 2-3 times per week. Lately, every so often, when either opening or closing the dome the hinge gets "in a bind". I can't really explain it any other way other to say that I'm unable to either close it or open it. It's like the hinges get out of synch or something.

My local dealer assembled and delivered it.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a quick fix that I might try before I bug the dealer?

    Try loosening the nuts/bolts that hold them together.

    The XL seems to have more than its share of hinge problems. My buddy has one [I do not] and he hsa alignment problems all the time. I would call the service dept at the Mothership for help ;)

    There is a hinge bolt on the XL that will tighten it's self and cause your condition. It is on the side and it looks like the end of the bolt almost touches the band. (mine was) Mine had a teflon type washer on it that just mangled as it tightened. I ground the bolt a little shorter as well. Never had the problem again.
    Just don't force your dome open or closed till you fix the problem.
