Charbroiled Crabs

Cleaned some crabs from yesterday's crab boil.
Charbroiled with butter, garlic, and parmesan and liberally dusted with Jamaica Firewalk.

Basted several times with the garlic butter - drip pan underneath to catch the garlic butter

Potatoes, corn, onion and garlic on the drip pan underneath - all from the crab boil

This is a 6 napkin meal - Man!! This is good. :woohoo:

MMMM Very nice Frank!! I wish we could get crab at a desent price around hear. When I was in collage a La.Tech frat bro's would bring back crab from Port Auther and Jennings along with shrimps, aundui and others and we would make a big 10 gallen pot of gumbo! Don't know if it was our age, the beer or the actual dish but that was some fine eating!!

those crabs bring back memories for me.....when visiting the inlaws, bunch of us would run out to Sabine Pass (port arthur way)for all ya can eat BBQ crabs and shrimp with cold beer...........hurricane ended that restaurant run.......www.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc. -
Tom - Thats where I first had them. Been trying to repeat their BBQ crabs ever since - they were outstanding. Didn't realize a hurricane took out the place.
Sartin's BBQ crabs are actually fried but I have been trying to boil then Egg - I probably just need more seasoning :evil:

you might give Durkee's Zestful Seasoning a shot. it's kinda close to Sartin's flavor....
