Kim and our granddaughter Riley went out tonight so since I was alone I cooked a nice 2" thick NY Strip on the mini to med rare then rested it for ten minutes. I smothered it with the fresh salsa from my garden and ate it with flour tortillas, it was fabulous. -RP

Thanks I was going to tell the butcher 1 1/2. They seem to cut them so thin at the store I buy from. Too me that ruins a steak

That was some spicy salsa, I almost couldn't eat it yesterday, but it has mellowed some now. Sure was a great condiment on the steak. -RP

I'm curious. That looks like Pico de Gallo more than salsa. Is it the same thing? Most salsas that I have seen are more tomatoe saucier.Educate me, please. It still looks WONDERFUL,whatever it's called. The main reason I ask is that my maters and peppers are starting to overwhelme me and I need some ideas on different things to use them up.

As always outstanding Randy! Glad your garden is doing well. Actually mine is also but organic it is not. Been having those dang aphids and sprayed enough poision on it that if the Obama administration finds out they will declare it a supper fund clean up!
