Beef & Broccoli
We tried this last night and it is a fantastic dish, please try you will like it...sorry no pics camera was charging for weekend golf trip starting in the morning.[p]1 small flank steak, 1 - 1 1/2 lbs.
salt & pepper to taste
4 c. broccoli flowerets, blanched
1 medium red onion, chopped
salad greens, washed and dried.
Dressing [p]1/4 c. Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
3 T. sesame oil
2 T. toasted sesame seeds
1 T. fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp. sugar
dash of red pepper sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Salt and pepper meat, then grill flank steak until medium. Slice when meat is cool enough to handle. In a bowl combine all ingredients for the dressing; mix well. Add onion, broccoli, and sliced steak; toss well to coat. Serve on a bed of salad greens. Serves 4-6.
