Found a pile of these in my cellar, people loved it or hated it. It was one of Coca Cola's blunders and discontinued several years ago. The price was ridiculous (like $2 a bottle) but a large gas company was promoting it at 10 points/bottle.
Granted it's aged and the ingredient list is full of chemicals and artificial stuff, the curious side of me is wondering if it's good for marinating, or reheating pulled pork :woohoo:

Molly, not sure whether you meant you don't know if my crazy ideas would work, or not familiar with the product. It was around for less than two years and discontinued ...

Interesting, I have never seen or heard of it before, it must predate me. I think when in doubt sell it on ebay for $50 a bottle.
Gator -
Gator, it was introduced around 2007 but disappeared real quick. I've seen empty bottles on ebay for $1.99 but my bottles are intact with the 'real' thing in them :P

Canuegghead....Just beware...soda is made with an expiration date for a reason. Make sure you taste it and make sure it is good before you ruin a nice piece of meat!! (a couple years? It is likely spoiled) And I am another...never heard of Blak. Wonder if it was just introduced in Canada? Be sure to taste before using.

Whatever sweetener used in it has gone bad, that's pretty much what drives the expiration date, i.e. shelf life for soda....especially short for diet sweeteners, their shelf life is considerably shorter.

agreed.
Learned the hard way.

Sell them on ebay....they are likely not drinkable at this point. :pinch:

I remember them... they weren't drinkable when they were fresh! I love coffee and coke, but together aint the thing IMHO.
Make a good coffee mop/marinade and try to make a few bucks on ebay too.Large and Small BGE * www.quelfood.com -
that true with beer also? I have several cans of Red Dog and some other brands that got pushed to the rear of a closet in the basement - guess I could just try a can or two - dah... :SRe-gasketing the USA one yard at a time!
