Well TimM1 created a little Eggcitement the other day when he posted on the Big Green Egg Forum: http://www.eggheadforum.com/index.php?option=com_simpleboard&func=view&id=912434&catid=1 It was a nice surprise.

But once again he's disappeared. It would have been good to hear more about what he's been up to the past few years.

For those of you who don't know him, he was a frequent poster over a decade ago. Like many of the old-timers he shared his creativity in many ways. I was among those who learned a lot from his posts. He decided to join the "P" crowd and we haven't heard much from or about him since.

It sure would be nice to have him back posting every now and then. I'm pretty sure he can still cook a decent meal.

Ha.... I think I should make it into 'The Knee Movie.' It has certainly been an adventure into the world of pain and suffering: pain for me and suffering for Judy who has to put up with me.

Funny thing is that the knee itself is coming along nicely. It's the other stuff that is causing problems. One night it was 'restless leg syndrome', then three or four times I've had Charlie Horses that just wouldn't go away. And I go from being extremely hot to extremely cold, often sweating bullets while shivering. Add to that the loss of appetite, the drugs and everything else. But every day I feel better than the day before.

It's not fun but I'm told that once healed I will forget about all the pain and suffering and only appreciate the end result. It's then when I say "Let's do it again."

And I keep reminding myself all the time that some people would give anything to have a knee to hurt.

Everyone involved so far has been absolutely wonderful. I could not have asked for better treatment.

Sorry I haven't been more attentive. Been a real zoo at the real job.

    Hope all is well.

Glad your feeling better and if you make the knee movie don't tell me how it ends our journey starts next Thursday
  • Sorry I missed him!

I met Tim at my first fest in 2000 at Dales. he was a great help explaining a lot of tricks to me.

    Maybe a dozen cooks

That year I met Cat, MollyShark and I believe WessB was there cooking up pizza for the crowd.

I was eight weeks out of my first knee replacement and remember the day like it was yesterday
