Hi,
last week I posted that I accidently burnt my gasket with an electric charcoal starter. It burnt a narrow channel thru the gasket and allowed a lot of smoke to excape. Naked Whiz was kind enough to send me a new piece of gasket to patch mine up with. [p]In removing the old gasket and the sticky residue I scrapped it with a razor blade and then sprayed something called Mostenbocker's Lift Off 2 on my cloth and the residue wiped off completely and easily. I then cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol before applying the new gasket. [p]I just wanted to pass this hint on to those of you who need to change your gasket. I think that I bought my Lift Off 2 at an auto parts store, but tey are probably sold every where. Mark from Utah
