Apple Berry Galette

Ok, I admit it, I have galette on the mind. Here is today's apple berry galette. I won't post the recipe since I think I want to tweak it. But the photo is nice, lol! By the way, if you see a photo of one of these and the strawberries are bright red and look like they were just sliced from berries off the plant, call your lawyer. I don't know how you are supposed to bake a pie with strawberries in it for 50 minutes and not get strawberries that look like they were baked in a pie for 50 minutes.

LOL looks good.. my Nana made those all the time and called then "floggers" with the old Maine accent it comes out "floggahs" that meant it was a sweet crust dough rolled out and anything for berries tossed in, edges flopped up and sprinkle with sugar then into the wood stove...kids are missing so much with microwaves...

Looks great. All I need to know is what temperature? Oven galettes are typically at about 425. Should I assume the same for the egg?

I just bit my laptop screen....dang that looks deelicious.

I did that one at 400 on a pizza stone sitting on a plate setter. I let it heat up for about 1/2 an hour. It was too hot. The apples on top got scorched. I'm going to do the next one at 350 perhaps. I've also decided to more than tweak it. Next attempt is next weekend. The Naked Whiz
