ok i apologize for putting a non-egg cook on the forum but i thought this was worth it. (The pic is on our Lang 60.) Monday was Huntsville Armed Services Celebration Day and the mayor asked a few teams to cook. We got to cook for over 700 service men and women (weeks out of basic training) and the a group of 150 comprised of active and retired generals and their families. We did our best Celtic Wolf impression and cooked b/w 150-200 thighs. There were also a few teams cooking butts and one or two doing ribs. Long story short, it was such a cool and humbling experience to see that many soldiers in formation and eating our bbq! Even got a personal thank you from a two star general! Sorry for the poor quality pic but it's all I got.

Last year I did an event for the 3 Special Forces Group. After it was all over I brought an extra pork butt to the Colonel of the Group and joked that if he was a General he'd have to get his own. I didn't realize the man sitting next to him was the SOC Commander, Lt. General. He laughed and said I am a General and I did get my own.. -
