\"Painted\" Chicken

Saw Dr. Zaius' Harrisa chicken and decided I needed to Egg some chicken. Didn't have the all same ingredients as he had but used adobo, garlic and a ton of spices. I was thinking this could be called "UN Chicken" since it had elements from all over.

The "paint" was nice and thick and I made sure to get some under the skin as well as to save some thinned out as a sauce at the end. This was fantastic and next time I'll let it marinate overnight to get even more flavor into it.

Here it is painted.

And just before pulling. Skin was good & crispy and loaded with flavor.

  • Looks good! I hope you wrote down what you put in that rub! Looks like it's a keeper.

Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 6 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Looks delicious! I feel lazy now, doing some thighs myself tonight, just have them sitting in the fridge with DP Tsunami Spin.
