MR EGRET is the master.
The only one I do anymore. Spiral makes it easier to serve.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.
Egret's ham is a real popular cook, you can find this in the recipe section. I don't have a link to the post but if you want and can't find it in the recipe section email me and I will send the recipe to you directly.
Alton Brown also has a great ham cook that works well on the egg.
My favorite is a Maple Syrup injected spiral cut ham in a disposable pan with 1 or 2 cans of concentrate orange juice (not mixed).
If cooking a spiral cut ham watch the done temperature as it can cook (heat) to long. I usually pull about 140° internal.

I agree with that recommendation - but I don't agree with the spiral cut - if you are injecting the maple syrup it will run right back out so I wonder do you brush it on the "fanned" pieces or something?Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time!

As for injecting look at the link on my post below. That is an easy and efficient way to inject a spiral cut ham.

Instead if injecting it, I pour over the open slices and brush a few times to get it nice and wet between the slices before cooking. Careful not to dry out, as it cooks faster that a non-spiral cut one.
