over smoke with large egg

Major issue with too much smoke coming from my large egg, just pulled it out was stored for the winter, covered in a dry area, cleaned it completely out this spring, first time used after the winter, did some chickens smoked like a chimney, way more than last year, whats the issue with this.

First of all, your post somehow got put in the Off Topic Forum, so not many people have seen it. You may want to to re-post with a different title, "smokey Chicken" or something like that.
I don't really have an answer for you other than did you let your Egg burn long enough to get a good stabilized fire? How many chickens? If you were cooking direct and had several birds going, they put off a lot of fat. Fat + Fire = smoke, lots of smoke! :ohmy:
