Going Vertical: Brisket & Butt
Need some help on this one. I want to do a butt and brisket at the same time on my Lg. BGE. 10 lb packer brisket, 7 lb butt. From what I have read in the past, butt superior, (butt on top)is preferred. I have been tying fo figure out the best way to set this cook up. I have a platesetter, standard 18' grill, a raised 18" grill (per THW's instructions),a 14" grill, 2 V racks, and heavy steel drip pan. After much pondering, and positioning the various pieces of equip, I can't quite figure out how to get the butt correctly positioned (high enough)over the brisket. Any and all ideas greatly appreciated
Best,
Gary

EggingOn,
Put the platesetter in with feet up; drip pan in the middle, then main grill on top of the feet. Brsiket goes on this level. Put the grill extender on...pork butt on that grill.
