Successful frozen wings

I tried thawing some wings on the Egg last night and they turned out great. I put them on frozen at 200 degrees, with a couple of apple chunks on the lump. They were completely thawed after about 20-30 minutes. I kicked the heat up to 300-350 and grilled them until the skin was crispy. I took them off and coated them with a mixture of Frank's hot sauce and melted butter. They tasted like buffalo wings, but much smokier. I will definitely do them like this again.
