was not cooked on a BGE,but it was cooked by an egger, and there were eggs there   We spent the day on Jackson Lake with Big'un and family and some of his many friends.Anywho,Todd smoked a 65lb pig and it was delicious :woohoo: Here's some pics.......
First,the funny lookin cooker

Someone couldn't wait to try a rib

After the pig reached 180*,time for a flip to crisp up the top...

Here it is,ready to eat :woohoo:

Here is Todd serving it up....with a little help :P

Anyway,we had a great time.Jeannie even helped Carson catch a fish :woohoo: Thanks for listening....

I like pork, but I couldn't eat it if it still had the head attached.

Pig looks great. The cooker looks like an improved Caja China.

HAHA,but some of the best meat on a pig is on the head

Thanks for the pig pics Doug. I really hate that we missed it. It was Birthday weekend here at the Chateau so we were with Family most of the time. Would love to have been there with you all.

Thanks,it was really good, but I've(in my very limited experience)never seen a cooker like that :pinch: I guess that I need to get out more

LOL Pat. Don't you know Sparky was sizing it up for that purpose. How many Bud Lights would fit in that thing anyway?
-
Sorry, responded to wrong post.
CTD, the cheek is the best part.
-
It was only 65lbs,so I figured that it was little(as far as pigs go anyway)
I only cook pig parts  -
Thanks Ron,we missed you,but understand that you had other plans
We'll catch up next time buddy

HAHAHA,thanks Pat.I thought the same thing, that cooker is almost as big as my beer cooler :woohoo:

HAHA Ron,I figure it would hold 200+ bud lights and 5 bags of ice :P

Oh man that brings back memories! In collage we had a plate steel top just like the rig hear that we used over and over. Just built a plywood box for the hog, used it once and tossed the box away. Burned regular oak on top of it. We done pig and goat both in it. SEVERAL beer dissapeared putting wood on that thing! :pinch: Thanks for the memories!
-
