tri tip and goodies

Smoked a semi frozen tri tip today indirect @250 for 5.5 hours. The last 15 minutes I put it on direct to char and added 4 garden japalinos and a head of garden garlic. I washed and broke down the garlic, added salt & pepper and olive oil. They were great. I pulled the loose membrane from the peppers and just ate them whole. They got hotter as I ate them. The last one made me beg. Overall it was a great meal. The tri tip weighed 3 1/4 lbs. tstick
