Cosco has an excellent sauce for salmon: Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce. This is one to try, it has a bit of a kick to it. I'm not sure if they have it everywhere, it's Item #236438.

    AbqEgg'r,
Is it a marinade? Or a dipping sauce?? Or a finishing sauce??
    Sounds great.

AbqEgg'r, What is the roasted part? The raspberries??? It sounds like something to try with pork t-loin maybe. Can you get it in less than 5 gallon buckets from Costco?

    Frozen Chosen,
The roasted part is the Chipotle chile. It's also what gives it that little kick. It comes in a 40 oz bottle and would probably be great on pork loin also.[p]TR

    Doug,
It's made by:[p]Fischer & Wieser Specialty Foods, inc.

http://www.jelly.com/catalog/sauce/gourmet/roastedraspberrychipotle.html[p]We buy it here at the Price Club (Cosco). It's much cheaper than the prices on the web site. If you don't have a Cosco near, I'd call the 800 number and see if they have a dealer near you. If all else fails email me and I'll get a bottle to you.[p]TR

  • AbqEgg'r,
Here's the description off their web site:

    Original Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
Smokey, sweet, spicy! What a combination! This award winning concoction can be used as an accompaniment with any meat, fish or fowl. Also great right out of the jar poured over a soft cheese with crackers or French bread sticks. The sweetness of the fresh raspberries is the perfect contrast to the spicy smoke of the chipotle pepper.
    15.75 oz. for $8.50
