Working on table
I have a friend that owns and runs a local saw mill. I talked to him yesterday and he is going to cut and plane some cedar for me. I am going to make the top of my table with one inch cedar 6 feet long and not sure about width. Might go 3 feet wide. Haven't decided if I want to incorporate the Egg into the table or not. What you guy's think?[p]Jerry

Jwirlwind,[p]I think you should ship it to me after it's built to make sure it's safe to use. I'm pretty picky though

Jwirlwind,Definitly incorporate your Egg into the table.
I made one with plain cedar 2+4s.Put a hard maple chopping
table top on it. We have a mini Egg and a medium egg in it.
I painted it with primer and then a good paint. It is working beautiful. It is about 5' by 32" It is inside a screened porch so no weather gets to it. Here we have rain and good winter snows. Can Egg in any kind of weather.
Good Luck!!!!

Illini fan,
Oh no. I will either polyurethane or oil it. Either way, I will have a cover made for it. [p]Jerry

Yazoo,
LOL. I hope to have it done in the next few weeks. I will post the picture as soon as I can. It seems like I don't have the time anymore to do some of the things I like doing. Need to back off the golf some I guess. [p]Jerry
