Todays image . . . Tropical Storm soon to be Hurricane Alex has the Gulf pretty well clouded in. You can see the top of Alex in this image.




Even our weather here in Fort Myers is being affected by Alex, our afternoon thunderstorms are coming up from the south as they are caught up in the rotation. Normally they come out of the east on the Atlantic sea breeze. That same rotation could be forcing much more oil on shore in the northern Gulf. Awful happy Alex is headed away from here.
