I know. I'm supposed to do BBQ or something American, but I woke up thinking Chinese. I made fried rice and Cashew Chicken. Turned out well, I thought.

Beautiful photos. It is so easy to take them with my Iphone, but these make me want to use my Rebel.

Gary, where have you been? Great to see your post today. The fried rice and cashew chicken looks fabulous, especially plated with such skill!
Beautiful pics. -
Great lookin' cook, Gary. Light boxes are cool too, huh?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Thanks Rebecca. I couldn't stay away from wonderful people like you and the rest for very long. It's good to be back.

Thanks Chappy. It ain't the camera. I've seen folks do better with their iPhone than I can with my Nikon D300. Just shoot and post.

Very nice Gary. Your skills at woking are very good. Good to see you and I hope you had a great weekend. Tim

Thanks, Tim, and it's good to see you too.
After my first wok cook, I learned to pre-measure each ingredient, put them in individual little bowls, and line them up in the order I'm going to add them. If one part of the recipe calls for setting something aside, I'll put an empty plate inline. Also, if I'm not familiar with the recipe, I'll print out a brief hint of each step in large font to look at while cooking. It works for me.

Thanks Gary. I will remember to do that. I think that will definitely be part of my system. Tim
