I know what a Biketoberfest is. What is an Eggtoberfest? Is it a local, regional or national event?

    SMOKIN' MIKE,[p]It's an annual get-together for eggers, held in Atlanta near the BGE retail store. The "tober" part comes from the fact that it's generally held the second or third week of October. Check out the pictures from the previous years and you'll see what it's all about.

    SMOKIN' MIKE, it is sponsored by the Big Green Egg headquarters and will have around 500 people from all over the country (and Canada). Last year there were 70 large BGEs cooking from 10AM to 4PM cooking every imaginable dish (and some unimaginable) for people to sample. It's a chance to learn more about the BGE, meet forum friends and have an overall great day.
