Well, last night actually. I fired up the egg for some guests and we did chicken breasts. Since I needed to offer up some choices I cooked 3 breasts with one of the rubs from Naked Whiz, 2 with a mustard bbq sauce, and 2 plain for the young'uns. They were all real good and super tender. Why didn't I buy an egg earlier?!

Horrible iPhone pic of chicken parts cooking:

Looks good! I see you went direct on the fire ring. What temp and how long? I ask because a lot of people will raise the grid to the level of the felt with firebricks, bolts, special rig setups, you name it and set the temp high like 400F.

I am with you on both "I felt like chicken tonight" and why did it take so long to get a BGE?

For the chicken I also used direct cooking at about 400 just S & P the length of time was until they are done, don't measure spices either. Then I let the EGG get nice and hot and tossed some Tuna steaks on the grill, yum! These with a little EVOO S & P, great sandwiches.

I never knew about the modern EGG until I asked to get a new grill and my wife said this is the one we are getting, lucky me!

I went 350 for 14 minutes on the first side, then flipped the chicken and cooked till done. I don't have the setup right now to raise the grid and still cook direct.

Supper looks good. Iphone or not! That last pic made me laugh. Guy on the forum named bill always running around in flip flops or bare foot with a set of hairy toes in his pis sometimes. Kind of like "Where's Waldo" to find them. Whats for supper tonight??! ;)
