I would like to thank everyone for the knowledge I have gained from this forum. When I joined a few years ago, my only area of cooking proficiency was barbecue. The ideas and skills demonstrated here never cease to amaze me. It has peaked my interest in everything culinary, leading to my significantly expanded skillset. I would like to think I have made a contribution or two along the way.
I have made many friends here and hope to maintain those both in person and online. I believe Eggtoberfest will be even better than in past years. I hope those who have said they won't be attending will have a change of heart.

Thank you for the 5000.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -

No, thank YOU, Ron. I still remember when I was brand new at this, maybe 1-2 cooks under my belt, and really wasn't too sure about this temp control thing. You told me to call you and I got a verbal how-to-do-it while I was standing on my patio fiddling with the vents. I appreciated it then, and I still do. But then, that's what this place seems to be all about.
But geeze... 5000?! You talk too much!I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
