Better how? Better is a bit of a subjective term.

Better = last longer. All my BGE thermometers went nuts after not very long. All my Tel-Tru thermometers have done just fine for 5 years or so.The Naked Whiz

Does the Tel-Tru calibrate as well?This is the greatest signature EVAR!

It looks like it takes a 9/16 wrench or 5/8 it's a big nut.
