Now here is someting I always see, but never asked why. Almost everybody who builds a table for the Egg, always has the Egg set to one side or the other. Why not in the center? I would prefer to work with two sides available, Only having one side to use would make for a cluttlered table. Food going in from the left and comes off to the right seems natural. Anyway what do you table builders and user think?

tach18k,[p]If you build the table with 2 wheels then the positioning of the egg to one side makes it easier to lift the other side and move the table. [p]The other consideration is the size of the table. If you table is not very large then you want maximize the amount of space you do have. In other words I would rather have one area that is 18" wide than 2 that are maybe 9"-10" wide.

SeanB, Then thats when I say build a 68 inch wide table. then it would be 24" on either side. I like lots of elbow room

I like the idea of room on both sides. I also think most of us have too little room in the front. If you had a foot in front you could still reach in easily and you'd have a spot for your Redi-Chek etc.

The main reason I can see is that all of the BGE covers work only with the egg on one end of the table...[p]Beers 2 U

That is what I am lookin four also is a plan for a center mount large egg. I have an end mount Xlrg but one side gets cluttered. Some guy called "Joder" posted his table on the Naked Whiz site but I am unable to find him. I am gonna try to make one if you want my plans let me know.. JR
