Hi Everyone,
I was out at my local GFS (Gordon Food Service) and they have a 20lbs. of their lump charcoal for $12 and change. I went to the naked whiz website for lump charcoal review and it isn't listed. Has anyone bought and used it? How did it burn and what amount of ash?
Thanks,
Stef Berchert

It is fine and I've used it many times. GFS used to carry Royal Oak and then about 3 years ago they switched to their private label, but according to the local manager here it's still made by Royal Oak - same as BGE is a Royal Oak product. At $12 for 20 pounds it works for me!

It's all I use now. I love it. No problems at all. Nice big pieces.

I Just bought 2 bags yesterday. I've been using it for a few years... or whenever GFS switched over from Royal Oak. Pretty good stuff.
