big green egg wood table

Any advice on treating a big green table. The Atl store told me that I was good to go, but I think that I need to pressure wash the table and then treat/seal the table. Any suggestions out there?[p]Thanks,
Martin

    Martin,
I can't remember if those are made from Cedar or PT pine. If they're cedar you can let it go grey and it will hold up for several more years at least. If it's cedar and you don't want grey, then you will need to treat it with a Clear wood finish designed for Cedar. If it's already grey, you might have to bleach it, then treat with a finish with some pigment in order to get rid of the grey . If they are pine, you will need to put a protective coat on for sure, any good deck finish should do nicely.

    Martin,
I've had this table for 6 years and never did anything to it. I just satined it and coated it with spar urathane this past spring.
