When Ginny & I met Pork Butt Mike & Sabrina at the 08' Ocala Eggfest we started talking about camping together. Then Terry Bente started talking about camping at Lake Hartwell in north Georgia. So this weekend the 3 of us & spouses + Dr Zauis & his family & Rocky TopSC & Mrs Food Police joined in the fun.

There is no tongue shot!!!....I don't really believe "He" was there. There are lots of handsome guys who could have subbed in for him on those shadowy shots. But there is only one tongue. I need more evidence. Looks like fun,...regardless.

There will be pics I am sure...but Poot & Bente had a Pizza Hut pizza delivered to me at the camground on pizza day...it was hilarious...the poor PH delivery kid was in shock with all of the cameras and pics

I hang out on Lake Keowee and Jocassee when I visit my niece. I'll have to try Hartwell sometime. Very nice area.

I do a winter camping & flyfishing trip in NC. It has snowed 4 of the last 5 years...it is very peaceful standing in a river, flyfishing with snow falling all around..

Our fishing group camps at Brookside Campground in Andrews, NC near the Nantahala River. We camp in tents, trailers & pop ups. There are usually 25-35 of us who do this the first weekend in Februaury. It is called the Frostite.

Yes he did fizzle...I have been on NGTO for years...I actually missed the last two Frostbites because I have been in Las Vegas for a golf tourney... :woohoo:
